Akai Eie Pro Driver For Mac

  • We're happy to tell you that most Akai Pro products (hardware and software) are already supported on macOS Mojave without any need for additional driver or firmware updates. If you haven't already, check our list of supported Akai Pro software, class-compliant and driver required products below to make sure your gear is ready for the update to.
  • AKAI has not yet resolved the issues and cannot offer the EIE Pro driver for this item, therefore you are doomed if you purchased this one with Windows 8.1 operating system. The AKAI EIE interface with a grey box, is the one working with the EIE Pro ASIO driver, but sofar I have no proof that it would even work better than the ASIO4ALL driver.

Whenever a new operating system is released, it is crucial to check the compatibility of your hardware and software before choosing to make the jump. This article will be updated periodically to reflect the current status of Akai Pro hardware and software compatibility with macOS High Sierra 10.13 and iOS11.

Please note: It's important to us that your work and creativity are not interrupted. We do not recommend updating to macOS High Sierra 10.13 and iOS11 until your product is listed as compatible here in this article.

The Akai EIE Pro, by comparison is a simpler unit, but works very well. I've had no issues with latency using this unit work Logic Pro, GarageBand, and Logic Express. It's built like a tank. If portability is your main concern, look elsewhere. This unit weighs in at about 4lbs.
